Grilled Kebab Recipe

This kebab recipe is made from is made from beef mince, and uses oven grilling. Kebabs are usually made with skewered meat and vegetables cooked over a hot flame. The most common type of meat used in this originally Middle Eastern dish is lamb or beef.

Kebabs with Kipfler Mash

Ingredients
500g lean minced beef

1 tablespoon crushed garlic

1 tablespoon crushed ginger

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon cumin powder

2 crushed and deseeded green chillies

Small bunch green coriander, chopped finely

Olive oil spray

Method
  1. In a large bowl, mix beef with garlic, ginger, salt, cumin green chillies and coriander.
  2. Shape beef into long finger shapes by pressing around a skewer, so a hole remains in the middle.
  3. Play on a grilling tray and spray with olive oil
  4. Grill in the oven at high heat until brown
  5. Serve hot with a side salad and mashed potatoes made of kipfler potatoes and light sour cream.
