Pizza Recipes: Healthy Basil Pesto Pizza

basil pesto pizza Serves:Makes 3 Pizzas

1 serve = half a pizza

Prep Time:20 minutes + dough time

Ingredients
1.5 cups baby spinach leaves

0.5 cups fresh basil leaves

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 garlic cloves

1 cup chopped sundried tomatoes

150g grated low fat Mozarella cheese

Method
  1. In a food processor, make the pesto by processing together the spinach, basil, olive oil and garlic.
  2. Divide the paste into 3 portions, and spread one portion over each pizza base.
  3. Spread the pesto over the base of each pizza.
  4. Sprinkle with chopped sun dried tomatoes.
  5. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
  6. Bake in a pre-heated 225 degree celsius oven for about 20 minutes
  7. Bake until cheese is golden brown.
